Vacuum Division previously known as The New Poona Industries in short [NPI] was established in 1959 to produce various metal bandsaw blades, perforated sheets in various metals and later on spares and accessories of Tooth brush tufting automats. These products were later on discontinued and from 1987 this division started manufacturing Stainless Steel components and fittings as well as Standard & Custom built chambers for high and ultra high vacuum application.

The users for these products are scientific community in India in various research establishments like National Laboratories, Defence Labs, Department of Atomic Energy, Indian Space Research Organisation, Public Sectors as well as Universities and Industries.

Today, Vacuum Division, has all the facilities including modern welding and manufacturing machine tools, 3D and 2D packages for designing, a well-equipped test laboratory to ensure flawless quality product.

The present range of products includes standard flanges and fittings, valves, Helium Leak Detectors, Manipulators & Custom-built chambers.
